This is the first Teespring Tool Review for this section. In time, I’ll try go through all tools released for Teespring Affiliates and give my honest opinion on what I think of them.
What Does it do?
Insight Hero will allow you to find laser targeted FaceBook interests that can be easily added to FB Advertising Campaigns.
A big part of the Teespring game is Targeting. Targeting is the concept of selecting WHO your ads will be displayed to. If you don’t get this right, you’ll be paying way too much per click and most likely will never find a profitable campaign.
This tool searches through FaceBooks database and gives you interests that are related to your initial keywords. You can then go through each of them and select which ones you want to use.
Does it Give you A Competitive Edge?
Interesting question. I think yes and no. It depends on how many campaigns you launch and how much you know about the FaceBook Advertising Platform. Those that have been using it for ages know how to rack up a big list of highly targeted interests in 5 minutes so aren’t to phased by a tool like this but for those starting off it DOES give you a bit of an advantage.
Although it may uncover some interests you other wise won’t be able to find, the BIG interests, the ones that matter
How Essential is it For Beginners?
Most beginners have a hard time understanding the concept of TARGETED interests. I did too, for a long time. If you’ve just started out then I would recommend this product to you.
It will make it easier to understand the concept not to mention save you time doing it the long way, (see below under ‘Alternative Methods’).
How Essential is it For Pros?
Not essential. If you’re comfortable navigating yourself around power editor, facebook ads and using FB advertising in general you can make do without it.
Is The User Interface Easy to Use?
The User Interface is great. Speed is a big factor when it comes to launching campaigns. The more you launch the higher your chances of success and due to it’s interface and ability to import directly to Power editor once you’ve selected your interests, I give it a big 5 stars in terms of interface.
At the end of the day, it’s the functionality and deliverability of the tool we should always focus on when purchasing anything that will help our business but a smoother interface always makes a difference to me when sticking with a tool. There’s nothing worse than a glitchy product that’s a bore to use.

Pros & Cons
- Can reveal interests you otherwise might not be able to find.
- Fair price for a tool
- Interface is Great, easy to use
- Definitely makes the targeting process much quicker
- Can import directly into an ad campaign in power editor
- Makes the ‘laser targeting’ concept a bit clearer for those new to FB Marketing
- Only finds interests that can be targeted. Doesn’t give you ALL related pages as some you can’t put in the ‘interests’ field when targeting.
- Quick and easy to use
- There are free alternative ways to do this although they take longer and require you to know more about the FB advertising interface.
- Nothing groundbreaking.
Although it’s a little longer, you can go through Audience Insights and search through the database for targeted interests related to your keyword. You’ll have to then type them individually into the ‘edit audience’ section of your Ad in Power Editor.
For example, if we type in beard and click the ‘Page Likes’ tab, we’ll see the below pages.
Now, if we go to power editor or FaceBook Ad Manager and add Incredibeard as an interest, we’ll get the below suggested interests.
These are pretty targeted and as you keep adding them, FB will keep suggesting more. I’ve racked up over 50 interests just doing this. Although you never know if you’ve missed any which is where Insight Hero may come in handy. If you can targeted interests no one else has targeted, you might find a sweet spot.
