I see a lot of people asking some VERY specific questions. Now, it’s always good to ask questions but it somewhat gives me the type of mindset these people are in and I feel it can be better.
After a while in the Affiliate Marketing Industry you start to realise that there are certain parts of the process that count a lot more than the others. With Teespring for example, Targeting would matter a lot more than the color of your ad border. In fact, to me the whole ‘How much does each part matter’ breakdown kind of looks like this,
Design – 40%
Targeting – 40%
FaceBook Ad Image – 10%
FB Page relevancy – 2%
Teespring Description – 2%
You get the idea…
So looking at the above, the way I work, is to focus AS MUCH AS I CAN on the activities or parts of the process that contribute the most towards the success of my Teespring Campaigns. I’d rather focus 95% of my time working on new designs and launching them than making a new FB page and well written out description for each campaign. You get me?
This way, we’re applying the 80/20 rule. It makes more sense if you think about it. This is why sometimes, it’s not a good thing to be too much of a perfectionist. You only have so many hours in a day and if you’re going to spend them working on everything and making sure every little thing is perfect before launch, you’ll be wasting a lot of time.
In the same time you launch 1 perfect campaign, someone else would have launched 5 semi-perfect campaigns, good enough to learn what works and what doesn’t.
Don’t get me wrong, you should be spending quality time on certain aspects but others, you should just ignore.
